Travel RN – PCU / Stepdown (Night Shift)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit serving a telemetry patient population
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Meditech electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
• Adhere to all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of PCU / Stepdown specialty experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system strongly preferred
• PCU / Stepdown unit experience beyond the minimum requirement is highly desirable
