Summary The Endoscopy Technician II provides specialized technical support during complex gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring the safe and efficient use of advanced endoscopic equipment. This role requires expertise in handling therapeutic endoscopy devices, assisting physicians and nurses in high-acuity cases, and maintaining strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards. The technician serves as a vital member of the GI team, contributing to quality patient outcomes and operational excellence. Requirements Job Title: Endoscopy Technician II Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Minimum Field of Study: Minimum Education Notes: Preferred Education Level: Preferred Field of Study: Preferred Education Notes: Licensure Certification Needed: Yes Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum Licensure (Other): Training Required: Demonstrated proficiency in advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR, stent placement). Strong knowledge of GI anatomy, endoscopic devices, and therapeutic techniques. Experience with endoscope reprocessing, high level disinfection methods, and troubleshooting complex equipment. Proven experience in supply management or inventory control within a clinical setting. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure clinical environments. Salary Range $18.64 - $28.53 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
