Our Client is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (BESS/Storage/Power Plants) 21525 (remote) Required: Experience with Electrical engineering system design (5+ years). Experience with Electrical engineering principles and practices applied to a broad variety of assignments and fields. Experience with Codes, standards, and regulations, including safety codes and regulations. Experience with Electrical engineering system design, equipment, top-tier suppliers, and installation. Experience with Electrical engineering design architecture at a component-level, project-level, and portfolio level. Experience with Technical, commercial, and financial acumen. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience with Basic engineering calculations using spreadsheets and specific software such as HYSIS. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Preferred: Experience with Electrical engineering in power plants. Experience with Electrical engineering integration with renewable energy (wind, solar, battery). Experience with "Behind the meter" aka "microgrid" systems. Experience with Plant interconnection (generation and load) process. Experience with Grid planning modeling. Professional Engineering Certification. Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for innovative technologies and projects. Interpret and summarize industry trends and technology forecasts to make recommendations having significant impact on extensive engineering and related activities for the company. Lead collaborations with suppliers on solution strategies. Evaluate products and/or services for adequacy, accuracy, and usability. Validate the requirements and deliverables that describe the product(s) or service(s). Provide input into and execute user documentation and training material.
