Work Environment\nThis position allows you to work remotely, providing you with the flexibility needed to balance your professional and personal commitments. Typically, you will be engaged in consultations and therapy sessions during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments that measure the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms experienced by clients, while identifying any co-occurring issues. \n
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, integrating their values and aspirations to ensure a tailored therapeutic approach. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and important self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys. \n
- Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and assessments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize results. \n
- Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care. \n
- Stay informed about new research and innovations in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies and client outcomes. \n
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in case consultations and team meetings to collaborate on best practices and continue your professional development. \n
- Act as an advocate for mental health awareness, working to reduce stigmas associated with mood disorders and promoting overall mental wellness within the community. \n
Your focus will be on assisting individuals grappling with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele comes from various backgrounds, allowing you the chance to engage with a rich tapestry of life experiences and challenges. By understanding their unique contexts, you will help guide them towards effective coping mechanisms and sustained recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques, particularly CBT and DBT, with an emphasis on outcomes in mood disorder treatment. \n
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, facilitating effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals. \n
- Demonstrated ability to achieve positive treatment outcomes and effectively communicate with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. \n

- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly with mood disorder populations. \n
- Experience in telehealth practices, demonstrating adaptability and proficiency in virtual therapy sessions. \n
- Familiarity with using electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain comprehensive client documentation. \n
