This is for a new part-time, benefitted position at the East Washington Street Surgery Center location in Indianapolis, IN. This position will be scheduled 7:00a-3:30p and will also be expected to float to other Beltway Surgical Centers throughout Indy when case coverage is needed. No weekends/nights/call/or holidays. The technologist will be responsible for running C-Arms for surgical specialties such as Orthopedics, Pain Management, Urology, and Spine procedures, and will act as a liaison between the OR Teams and Imaging Services. Follows physicians instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Displays leadership characteristics by volunteering for improvement initiatives and intra/interdepartmental committees, seeking new ways to improve team collaboration and success, functioning as a subject matter expert, and acting as a mentor to assist in team development and coaching.
