Treasury Accountant

Treasury AccountantA growing and stable organization in the Charlotte market is seeking an Accountant to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with cash management, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and process improvement efforts. The company is looking for someone who can take ownership of their responsibilities, contribute ideas for improving efficiencies, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.Key responsibilities include managing cash activity across multiple bank accounts and entities, preparing and maintaining bank reconciliations, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, tracking and monitoring daily cash activity, supporting client billing and related reconciliations, processing commission payments and related accounting entries, preparing monthly journal entries and accruals, assisting with month-end close and financial reporting, responding to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests, partnering with internal departments to support business operations, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflows.Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required, at least 3 years of experience with treasury functions, cash management, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, or month-end close, strong Microsoft Excel skills, experience with ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus, strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.What we're looking for includes a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional, someone who enjoys improving processes and finding efficiencies, strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset, and a team player who is willing to learn and support others.Compensation and schedule details include $65,000 - $75,000 per year, fully onsite; Monday – Friday, a stable and growing organization, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a collaborative team environment.
