Network Administrator

Title: Network Administrator Location: Bethesda, Maryland (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Status: Accepting Candidates About the Role Network Administrator role supporting federal LAN/WAN infrastructure in a fully onsite environment, responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network systems with 24/7 on-call support. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a federal environment Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points Perform root cause analysis and document findings for incidents and service requests Create and maintain network diagrams, topology maps, and technical documentation Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency support across multiple sites Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with relevant network administration experience and certifications 3+ years of experience in network administration or related IT infrastructure role Hands‑on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking environments Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and other core network protocols Experience with network troubleshooting, monitoring tools, and log/traffic analysis Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust (NACI) clearance in the U.S. Compensation $35–$43/hr (W-2).
