FullTime Professional New Braunfels, TX, US Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care The Role: We’re seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care to provide comprehensive, patient-centered medical care across the lifespan. In collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams, you’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while promoting health maintenance and disease prevention. What You’ll Do: Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations. Provide preventive care, including immunizations and routine screenings. Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease. Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care. Perform minor office procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, and skin biopsies. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals. Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health management. Other relevant duties as assigned by management. What We’re Looking For: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP). Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state. National board certification (AANP or ANCC) – Family NP or Adult-Gerontology NP. DEA registration (if prescribing controlled substances). BLS/ACLS may be required depending on setting. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EHR/EMR). Cultural competency and patient-centered care focus. Outpatient primary care clinic.
