POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, ensures compliance with university parking regulations, provides assistance to patients, staff, and students entering parking ramps, and directs to available parking options accordingly.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years' experience in a public contact position.
- Experience must include use of computers and/or tablets.
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain UI Driving Policy.
- Successfully complete criminal background check.
- State agency employers in Iowa are required to use E-verify to confirm employment eligibility. University of Iowa employees, including those who work remotely or out-of-state, are subject to E-verify.
DESIRABLES:
- Knowledge of University of Iowa campus and locations of various parking facilities.
- Customer service/public contact experience.
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills in order to interact effectively with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
HOURS: 7am-11am Monday-Friday or 11:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
