Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a Neuro Trauma unit requiring at least one year of acute care telemetry experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Neuro Trauma unit with 36 beds staffed by RNs, Patient Care Techs, and a Unit Clerk
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:6, though not guaranteed
• Uses Kangaroo Pumps and Meditech EMR
• Performs procedures such as bubble studies and EEG monitoring

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for neuro trauma patients requiring close monitoring and specialized equipment
• Positive, engaged, and flexible personality fit preferred for this fast-paced unit
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Local candidates will not be considered for this role
