Logistics Coordinator

Job TitleSupport operational and maintenance activities by reviewing material requests and ensuring timely availability of inventory and purchased materials. Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast material needs, support upcoming projects, and maintain efficient inventory management practices.Key responsibilities include:Review and process material requests to support business and operational needs.Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to understand upcoming projects and forecast material requirements.Build and maintain strong working relationships with Procurement, Expediting, and Operations teams to ensure materials are available when needed.Evaluate the most cost-effective sourcing options using existing inventory, internal stock transfers, or external suppliers.Monitor open material requests and purchase orders to proactively identify items requiring expedited delivery or alternate sourcing.Review inventory reports and investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, or exceptions.Provide training and guidance on inventory and materials management systems.Act as a liaison between field operations and centralized supply chain teams, providing feedback on inventory strategies and system performance.Identify opportunities to improve materials management processes and operational efficiency.Track and analyze key performance metrics and implement corrective actions to support organizational goals.Procure critical or emergency materials required for operational, maintenance, or outage-related needs.Monitor material receipt, inspection, and hold processes to ensure compliance with quality and operational requirements.Required Skills:Inventory ManagementInventory ControlSupply Chain OperationsMaterials ManagementData Entry & Record ManagementMicrosoft Office / ERP SystemsPurchasing & Procurement SupportJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Heath, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.76 - $39.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
