Security Officer Entry Management in Pontiac, MI Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures. Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or access control concerns. Support a professional, welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized entry and protecting confidential operational areas. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
