Work for the #1 Escape Room in the U.S! As an Escape Room Guide, you are the host of an immersive, story-driven experience. You’ll welcome guests, draw them into a new world, and shape their journey from beginning to end. This role involves performance, hospitality, and problem-solving. You’ll observe each group’s experience in real time, offering support and adjusting your approach when needed so that every group leaves feeling successful, energized, and excited to return. Job Responsibilities Ensure each experience is set up flawlessly, safely, and on-time Guide guests through the story through engaging, in-character moments Read each group’s dynamic and tailor your approach to maximize their enjoyment Support and assist guests during their experience in a way that feels natural and encouraging Build quick, positive connections with a wide variety of people Take control of a situation in which a guest is not following rules or is acting in an unsafe manner during an experience Answer guests’ questions and take bookings on the phone and in-person Perform troubleshooting on experiences in the event of a breakage or error Job Requirements Must be 18+ years of age Must be available to work Saturdays Must be available to work Friday or Sunday (both preferred) Must be comfortable addressing groups of 2-10 participants Must be comfortable interacting with all types of people Must be able to think on your feet and adapt in the moment Must be able to sit and view computer monitors for several hours without eye strain Must be able to stand for up to 2 hours, use a step ladder, and climb stairs Must have reliable transportation Must have a smart phone and install our communication, booking, and scheduling apps Part‑Time and Full‑Time Opportunities Available Benefits Work in a creative, interactive environment Play our experiences for free 20% Off Friends & Family Discount Additional Full‑Time Benefits 401(k) + matching Health insurance reimbursement program Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Upstate LGBT
