Your goals and objectives include: Plan and facilitate therapeutic recreation programs that support patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and contribute to the development and achievement of patient treatment goals. Developing effective treatment plans and working toward safe discharge planning (avg length of stay = approx. 6 - 10 days) Working with patients who have experienced past or current trauma, symptoms of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and substance use Providing strong family support and case management skills

Your qualifications and requirements will include: Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, or a related field required. Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential required and must be maintained in good standing. Must possess or be eligible to obtain any state-required licenses, certifications, or registrations. Experience providing therapeutic recreation services in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or healthcare setting preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills, time management, and crisis intervention. Keep current with continuing education requirements for Utah licensure.
