Radiology - X-Ray

Schedule This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is a combination of 12, 10, 8, and 4-hour days as determined by department schedules, primarily Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Saturday shifts may occur from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Job Description The Radiology Technologist will perform imaging procedures in an orthopedic setting, focusing on a wide range of areas including the ankle, femur, foot, knee, pelvis, spine, and more. The role requires independence in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict infection prevention and isolation precautions. Responsibilities Perform radiographic imaging for various orthopedic conditions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Coordinate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and workflow. Utilize Epic for charting and documentation purposes. Ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiology setting, preferably with orthopedic focus. Current ARRT certification in Radiography and BLS certification required. New York state licensure in Radiologic Technology must be in hand upon submission.
