Delivery Driver For Omnicare PharmacyOmnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle. Delivery Drivers take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and they demonstrate ethical conduct and always maintain patient confidentiality. Successful Delivery Drivers will utilize a customer service mindset to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately. This position is for night time starting at 18:30.Responsibilities:Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient's homesLoad products/materialsResponsible for vehicle maintenance and alerting management for maintenance issues.Maintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulationsMaintain highest professional and ethical standardsFollowing all applicable government regulations including HIPAA to ensure patient confidentialityQualifications:High School Diploma or GED is requiredPossess geographical knowledge of service areaFlexibility required Nights and WeekendsCurrent, valid driver's license in the state at the level required for the vehicle's operationAbility to drive for long periods of timeCustomer service orientationPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience as a Delivery DriverPhysical Requirements :Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.Lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.Anticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay Range$16.00 - $23.56This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
