About This Role The Staff Nurse in the Operating Room provides professional nursing care to patients under supervision, utilizing nursing methods and techniques to address health problems and promote well‑being. Highlights Pay: $109,490/year Location: Bronx, NY Facility: Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center Department/Unit: OPERATING ROOM Schedule: Full-Time, Night (7:00 P.M – 7:00 P.M) What You'll Do Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho‑social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients. Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program. Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen for allied nursing personnel. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care. Participate in defining, implementing, maintaining, and interpreting standards of nursing practice. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing practice policies. Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education and learning experiences.
