Function Supervise and manage a region of Community Branch Managers with effective coaching and guidance to achieve established Retail Goals. Design and manage Retail product development and execution strategy. Location 10 N Church St, West Chester, PA 19380 3915 Chichester Ave, Boothwyn, PA 19061 1835 Lincoln Hwy E, Coatesville, PA 19320 1349 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA 19382 4 Brandywine Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 701 E Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 Hours Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Must be flexible around branch hours) Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Manager/Branch Administration to ensure profitable growth, superior service and the efficient and effective operation of the area branches by performing the following functions: Develop a strong Our Share Future Sales & Service culture throughout the branch and region with the review and inspection of Customer Insight surveys and adherence to the Services standards outlined in the Branch Playbook. Assist and inspect the execution of sales skills and service standards in support of the Bank’s Our Shared Future purpose, five values and core drivers. Use personal and professional skills to solve problems, clear roadblocks to success, provide direction and clarification, act as information source, and communicate expectations and standards, and provide feedback on performance. Review and recommend improved operating policies and ensure the proper implementation of approved changes. Assist with operational excellence in resolution of operational and customer problems. Conduct monthly managers' meetings, weekly manager conference calls, etc. Coach Community Banking Managers to achieve pre-determined branch sales goals. Participate in a rotation schedule to attend new hire training and welcome new colleagues to the branch family. Promote teamwork and lateral service within branches. Review, evaluate, and approve loans within specified lending limits. Approve capital expenditures. Assist branches in the recovery and prevention of fraud/loss. Communicate with branch personnel to provide training and to review bank policies, product knowledge, and customer service responsibilities. Ensure that branch personnel meet standards of professionalism. Perform certain "first-line" Human Resource functions. Delegate appropriate duties and responsibilities to subordinates. Instruct employees in time management techniques to help them complete their duties in an efficient manner. Coordinate with Regional Management and Human Resources on branch staffing needs, including active recruiting. Ensure staff development and handle succession planning and other personnel issues as needed. Complete employee performance reviews and conduct interviews with employees to discuss performance, goals, and objectives. Make recommendations for branch personnel regarding employment, performance ratings, salary changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations - including personnel development and career planning. Call on existing and prospective bank customers in order to enhance relationships, develop new business, and increase bank market share. Act as a project manager on behalf of the Retail Division to include various bank-wide initiatives including Audit responses, product design, staffing consultation, sales strategies, etc. When called upon, act as a mentor to newer position Regional Managers. Establish a leadership role in civic and community functions to enhance image and develop business. Interact with other bank officers to further expand existing customer relationships and develop new contacts. Maintain prescribed security controls to protect the branch against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure. Ensure that branch facilities are in good operational repair and recommend capital improvements. Keep informed of current developments and trends and federal and state regulations as they relate to all areas of branch operations. Maintain a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrate the ability to work independently. Work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization. Complete NMLS requirements as part of the S.A.F.E. Act certification. Proof of registration with the registry and verification of a unique identifier as established under the guidelines of the S.A.F.E. Act is required upon hire and/or must be obtained prior to performing the duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator, as defined by the Act. This registration must be maintained annually in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act. Assume additional duties as required. Physical Demands Operate a keypad device: 40% of the day; operate office equipment: 10% of the day; travel: 50% of the day. Sitting is required 30% of the day; walking is required 20% of the day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Travel for Business Development and training up to 50% of the time. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"–20" for computer work and travel 40% of the business day.
