Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for an Ultrasound Technologist!

Job Description:


- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm
- No call, No weekends, No holidays!


- Certifications Required:
- Must have ARRT or ARDMS
- Current BLS
- Compliance with continuing medical education (CME)

- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound general exams including Abdomen, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials
- Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department
- Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and communicate effectively with service engineers for repairs
- Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures
- Willingness to cross-train into other imaging modalities
- Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties, including scheduling patients
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the healthcare team
- Follow established departmental procedures

- Additional Requirement:
- Flu shot required (medical exemption considered with physician documentation; masking will be required at all times while on hospital grounds for the entire length of flu season)
