Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Glendale, AZ 85308 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Activities About the Role Terra Pointe Memory Care in Glendale, AZ is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Activities Director to join our community. The position is full-time weekdays, with occasional evenings for community events as needed. Benefits Paid Time Off 401k plan Employee Assistance Program Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Duties and Responsibilities Develop an activity program based on residents’ interests, needs, and abilities, enhancing their wellness and quality of life. Implement programs that meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental needs of residents. Create an activities calendar highlighting scheduled activities, events, and outings. Establish and maintain a volunteer program through recruiting and providing training and support for volunteers. Complete new resident and quarterly assessments to identify residents’ interests. Post weekly social media posts. Occasionally drive the bus for outings/resident appointments. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of (1) year experience in therapeutic recreation and/or senior activities in senior living, hospice, in-home health care, or skilled nursing facility. Must have a driver’s license. Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Good interpersonal communication skills. Creative and fun.
