Surgical Nurse

Pride Health is hiring a Operating Room RN to support our client's healthcare facility in Seattle, WA .

Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 6:45 AM-5:15 PM | 40 Hours/Week | On-Call/Weekend: No

Location: Seattle, WA

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $44-$46

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Assess the health status of patients and develop individualized plans of care based on physical and psychosocial needs.

• Identify patients and verify the correct procedure and operative site.

• Position, transfer, and transport patients safely while maintaining patient comfort and access to the operative site.

• Monitor patients and the operating room environment to maintain a safe intraoperative setting.

• Coordinate surgical support services, supplies, equipment, and team members to maintain an efficient and safe operating room.

• Initiate appropriate intraoperative behaviors as a circulator/scrub and assist with surgical procedures.

• Execute appropriate nursing interventions and provide direction or assistance during emergency situations.

Requirements:

• License(s): Active WA RN license

• Certification(s): BLS, ACLS

• Years of experience: 1+

• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Ability to scrub and circulate; ENT, Ortho, and Eye surgical experience preferred; Operating Room experience required.
