Remote Monitoring Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring building automation systems remotely, providing customer service, troubleshooting system issues, and contacting local offices to provide service of commercial building digital control systems. These responsibilities will increase based on exposure to tasks, ability to develop troubleshooting skill set, and consistent and accurate completion of assignments. The Building Automation Systems (BAS) you will be monitoring and troubleshooting includes but is not limited to Daikin branded controls or third‑party controls system. Location: Remote What you will do: Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner Interact with customers by offering status reports before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
