Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and decisive General Manager to lead operations at our Muskegon location (3275 Henry St). In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of business operations, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performing organizational culture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a commitment to achieving organizational excellence. This is a working position and requires being on your feet and working side by side with other team members.

Develop and execute strategic business plans that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth
Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and procedures
Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, fostering professional development and creating a positive workplace culture
Manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability and resource allocation
Monitor key performance indicators and metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders to support business objectives
Implement and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all operations
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency, driving continuous enhancement initiatives
Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support employee career development and onboarding
Make strategic decisions regarding staffing, resource allocation, and business priorities

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience managing teams and overseeing operational functions
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, and drive profitability
Excellent strategic planning and business development skills with the ability to identify growth opportunities
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to analyze complex business situations
Proficiency in time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively
Experience with performance metrics analysis and data-driven decision-making
Demonstrated ability to implement policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Preferred: Experience in the specific industry or sector relevant to the organization
Preferred: Knowledge of relevant software systems and business management tools
