Location: Elkins Park, PA 19027 Pay Rate: $15/hour

Schedule:

Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Sunday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight Shift)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Caregiver/Companion to support a female client in Elkins Park, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on assistance and supervision to ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

The client uses a walker for mobility and has Alzheimer’s disease, requiring consistent supervision as she may wander and cannot be left alone.

Responsibilities:

Assist with mobility and walking using a walker

Provide supervision and ensure client safety at all times

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Bathing

Dressing

Grooming

Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed

Provide medication reminders

Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, etc.)

Offer companionship and emotional support

Requirements:

Experience working with clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred

Must be patient, attentive, and dependable

Ability to follow care plans and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and caregiving skills

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
