Job Description Job Description Heavy Equipment Foreman Operator Company: Sacred Ground Excavation LLC Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview Sacred Ground Excavation LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Foreman Operator to lead excavation crews and operate heavy equipment on a variety of site development and excavation projects. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage crews, operate equipment safely and efficiently, and ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, skid steers, bulldozers, and related machinery Lead and supervise excavation crews on residential and commercial job sites Coordinate daily job site activities and workflow Read and interpret project plans, grades, and site layouts Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications Perform grading, trenching, excavation, and site preparation work Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs Enforce company safety procedures and OSHA compliance standards Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and crew members Train and mentor crew members as needed Assist with site inspections and quality control efforts Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience operating heavy equipment required Minimum of 2 years of Heavy Equipment Foreman experience required Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, trenching, and site development operations Ability to safely operate a variety of heavy construction equipment Leadership experience managing crews and coordinating job site activities Ability to read blueprints, grades, and project plans preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety Valid driver’s license preferred Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Leave Paid Vacation 401(k) Retirement Plan Why Join Sacred Ground Excavation LLC?
