HEALTH PROJECT & PLANNING MANAGER (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT) (CLASS CODE 5503)

Responsibilities Highly responsible professional work in the administration and oversight of multiple grant projects related to the reduction of domestic violence and sexual assault in the community. Work includes the oversight of operations, programs, public relations, and coalition building for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program. Incumbents in this position will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and supporting a comprehensive quality management system for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault initiatives. Work includes coordinating community response to domestic violence and sexual assault; and related work as required. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of professional managerial experience in public health program management. At least one year of this experience must have been in the area of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. A Master's degree in Public Health, a social science, criminal justice, or a Juris Doctorate may substitute for one (1) year of the general public health program management experience. Testing A written test, weighted 100%, is designed to measure: Basic Management Principles, Decision‑Making & Organizing, Interpersonal Skills, Written Communication and Mathematics. This is an original entrance examination.
