Handyman/Carpenter

Ace Handyman Services is seeking experienced handymen/women to perform a broad range of repair, maintenance, and remodeling tasks across the Wichita area. The role is a W‑2 position that allows independent work while the company finds and schedules jobs. Candidates will travel from home to job sites using their own truck or van. Responsibilities Basic repair and installation tasks (e.g., hanging pictures, door/window, trim, landscaping) Drywall repair and installation Painting and staining (interior and exterior) Flooring and tiling (hardwood, laminate, vinyl, ceramic, marble) Fencing, gutters, siding, decks, ramps, power washing Electrical: fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, ballast replacement, troubleshooting Plumbing: faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut‑off valves, ice makers, supply lines, drains, leaks, troubleshooting Kitchen, bath, basement, family room, bedroom, den, basin updates and installations Handrails, grab bars, ADA‑accessible tubs and doorways Benefits Competitive hourly rate Paid vacation Vehicle allowance Cell phone allowance Tool allowance Company credit card for material purchases Flexible scheduling Advancement and growth opportunities Consistent year‑round work Travel to work assignments from home Uniform shirts and hats Job Requirements Strong work ethic Positive attitude Successful track record in home repair and renovation Excellent communication skills to work with clients and co‑workers Good overall knowledge of multiple trades: carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, flooring Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades Late model work truck or van Current valid driver’s license Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Strong documentation and invoicing skills Professional appearance and demeanor Desire to be part of a team Estimation skills and prior home inspection experience is a plus Ability to pass background check and drug screen Compensation Base salary of $40,000 plus (can be adjusted based on experience and performance). #J-18808-Ljbffr
