Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural needs. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Recognizes the position as safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.
