R&D Test Engineer

Agilent seeks an Advanced Test Engineer to lead quality assurance for software products within the Services Division. The role combines test strategy development, automated testing, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality software delivery across the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own quality planning, test strategy, and validation activities for software products
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, API, and backend testing
• Partner with engineering teams on root cause analysis and preventative quality practices
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of testing approaches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
• 4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or software development experience
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause investigation skills
• Experience validating web applications, APIs, microservices, and enterprise software systems
• Ability to work independently while influencing cross-functional teams

Compensation: $116,800.00 - $219,000.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits
