CT Tech Opportunity at UPMC TrinityJoin the team at UPMC Trinity as a CT Tech and become part of a world-class imaging department that is changing lives every day!Title and Rate of Pay will be based on Education and ExperienceWhat You'll Do:Perform duties pertinent to practice area in C.T., including patient education and consent.Insure accurate physician orders.Practice Sterile technique and assisting in Radiologist procedures.Perform clerical/support functions including accurately completing information in Radiology System and PACS.Perform a variety of technical procedures utilizing existing standards as a guide.Assure compliance with all state, JCAHO, ODH, and other regulatory bodies through an ongoing review of required documentation and system analysis.Demonstrate Quality Assurance in job performance including maintaining QA program turnaround change and process of QA.Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies / behaviorsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:High School GraduateCompletion of a formal Radiologic technology program in an A.M.A approved school specializing in Radiology Technology.Must be registered or present evidence of Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology and CT sub-specialty.Must possess current Ohio License within area of assignment.Minimum 1 year clinical CT ExperienceMust possess a thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related physiology required, and demonstrate the clinical skills to function independently.Licenses and Certifications:BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hireARRT RadiographyUPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
