About the Role
The Company is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic and financial growth of its diversified financial services group. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive plan to close the valuation gap between a single education business and a diversified group. This includes developing a sum-of-the-parts valuation framework, structuring each entity for maximum value, and transitioning the group to institutional-grade financials. The role also involves leading the process for a capital event, designing the group's equity story, and ensuring the group is market-ready. The CFO will be a key player in the company's expansion, with a focus on building a lifestyle community membership, a business mastermind, and a regulated investment fund. Applicants must have a minimum of 10-20 years' of experience in finance, with at least 3 years' in a senior financial role. Direct experience in a transaction, multi-entity holdco or portfolio experience, and fluency in sum-of-the-parts valuation are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance marketing economics, multi-jurisdiction experience, and a proven track record of owning the relationship with external financial advisors. A background in financial services, experience with investment fund structuring, and exposure to PE-backed or PE operating environments are highly preferred. The role requires a direct, data-driven communicator with a builder mentality, who is comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and has a zero-tolerance for sloppy reporting.
