Job Title Employment Program Manager I Salary $6,525.00 - $8,170.00 per Month Position Type 12 Month Limited Term - Full Time Location Santa Clara County, San Jose (headquarters) Work Schedule 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, Hybrid Responsibilities Manage a unit of Employment Program Representatives determining claimant eligibility for UI benefits through fact‑finding interviews, inquiry responses, and claim processing. Provide prompt, accurate, courteous customer service, conduct training or mentorship as needed. Monitor staff functions, facilitate continuous process improvement using Total Quality Management methodology, and prepare timely reports. Lead implementation of EDD policies, procedures, new programs, and program changes. Oversee office administration including budget, personnel, payroll, staffing, space planning, and organization. Minimum Requirements Class specification reference: Employment Program Manager I. Desirable Qualifications Effective time management and organizational skills.
