Job Summary:
A qualified Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR/RN) is sought for a position in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy CVOR environment, with a focus on complex cardiac surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Candidates with prior travel experience are preferred.

Job Details:

• Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR/RN)
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Location: Nashville, Tennessee
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years CVOR operating room experience, prior travel experience, and current nursing license.
• Additional Information: Must have experience scrubbing in CVOR surgeries. The unit handles complex procedures including CABG, valve, transplant, ECMO, VAD, and other adult cardiac surgeries. Float between OR locations may be required but no float to other units. All travelers must be willing to take call (3 layers of call, 24/7) in addition to scheduled shifts; call requirements vary every 6 weeks.
