Water Project Engineer - Design Lead & Permitting

What You’ll Do As a Project Engineer you will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering high-impact water and wastewater projects. You will crunch design calculations, coordinate across offices, and support the success of clients and communities. Key Responsibilities Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and water resource management. Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications. Accumulate and analyze data and present findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations. Work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams. Lead portions of design work and ensure deliverables meet regulatory and industry standards. Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with team members across multiple offices and disciplines to keep projects on track. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field. Experience executing technical studies, analyses, and designing work for water‑focused projects. Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for results. Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a team to complete tasks. Compensation $67,000 – $134,000 depending on skills, experience, education, and location.
