Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Carle Health seeks a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to deliver evidence-based treatment to patients in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. The counselor will conduct comprehensive assessments, lead individual and group counseling sessions, and develop person-centered treatment plans focused on recovery and relapse prevention. Responsibilities include ongoing progress monitoring, crisis intervention, and close collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical documentation skills, commitment to patient safety, and alignment with Carle Health’s culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence in community-based care.
