Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support attorneys handling aviation-related contracts, including aircraft engine maintenance and global engine leasing matters.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing legal documents and contracts.
Review, organize, and summarize legal and factual documents.
Conduct legal and factual research.
Maintain organized case files and document workflows.
Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients and external parties.
Track deadlines and assist with scheduling and meeting preparation.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to legal matters.
Provide general administrative and legal support to attorneys.

Qualifications:

Legal education or strong foundation in law.
Experience with contract or commercial law is preferred.
Prior legal assistant or paralegal experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and document-review skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple documents, deadlines, and priorities.
Paralegal certificate or relevant legal coursework is a plus.
Proficiency with standard legal and office software.
Ability to work on-site in Westlake Village, CA.
Aviation, aircraft, or commercial-contracting experience is a plus.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
