Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Westbrook, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Psychiatric Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Weekend: Required Experience: 2 years; adolescent psychiatric experience required Call: None Float: Potentially Unit: 6-bed ICU Patient Ratio: 3:5 Patient Population: Thought disorders, psychosis, personality disorders, and manic patients Required Skills: Acute mental health experience and strong de-escalation skills Key Responsibilities: Provides psychiatric nursing care to adolescent patients, performs assessments, administers medications, monitors behavior and mental status, implements individualized treatment plans, manages behavioral crises using de-escalation techniques, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. Ideal Candidate: Calm, professional, and able to maintain composure in high-stress behavioral situations.
