Medical AssistantPosition: Medical Assistant (1–2 openings) Type: Temp-to-Perm Start: Spring Locations: Dunwoody Office Alpharetta Office Candidates must be flexible to travel between locations as needed.Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30/8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM Note: The Alpharetta office is closed on Fridays. If coverage is needed, the candidate will work out of the Sandy Springs office on those days.Pay: $20–$21/hour (based on experience) if someone has over 10 years of experience then they may consider $22. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and be able to hit the ground running.ResponsibilitiesAssist Physician or NP with medical proceduresAccurately document patient information in the EMR systemComplete and manage surgery-related paperwork as neededRoom patients and obtain vital signsFollow up with patients regarding care and treatment plansOrder and manage patient medicationsUtilize and apply medical terminology relevant to the specialtyRequirements / PreferencesMedical Assistant diploma requiredEMR experience required (Allscripts preferred)Certification preferred, but not requiredStrong communication and documentation skillBackground check and drug screen requestedTransportation (have own vehicle) to go to Alpharetta when needed.
