• May need to go to Newark, NJ a couple of times for meetings
• Private Brands Experience is Required

Looking for a consultant at the Director or Senior Director level to support our Private Brands organization. This individual will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving strategic initiatives, executive communications, business planning, reporting, and cross-functional project management.

Executive Partnership

• Prepare executive presentations, business reviews, and leadership meeting materials.

• Develop concise executive summaries highlighting business performance, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.

• Facilitate leadership meetings and drive follow-up actions across stakeholders.

• Provide business insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.

• Consolidate information from multiple functions into clear executive-level updates.

Strategic Project Leadership

• Lead high-priority Private Brands projects from planning through execution.

• Ensure accountability and alignment among stakeholders.

• Escalate risks and barriers while recommending solutions.

Private Brands Growth & Innovation Support

• Assist leadership in evaluating market opportunities and competitive trends.

• Support new product launch initiatives and category expansion efforts.

• Conduct analyses related to assortment optimization and portfolio performance.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve cross-functional collaboration.

• Develop frameworks, tools, and governance models to enhance organizational effectiveness.

• Support organizational change initiatives and strategic transform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in retail, consumer products, consulting, merchandising, category management, business strategy, or private brands.

• Experience working directly with VP, SVP, or C-suite leaders.

• Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and financial acumen.

Preferred Background

• Private Brands or CPG experience.

• Retail merchandising and product development knowledge.

• Experience preparing Executive Leadership Team and Board-level materials.
