Senior Civil Engineer, Aviation In this role, you will be a part of the Aviation Design team based in Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, or Dallas, TX. The projects will involve major airports across the United States. What a day at EXP has in store for you Lead design efforts in airfield geometry. Lead design efforts in airfield pavement design. Lead design efforts in airfield lighting and signage. Lead design efforts in utility installation and relocation. Lead design efforts in construction phasing. Lead design efforts in airport access roads and security facilities. Lead design efforts in landside transportation facilities. Prepare contract documents, specifications, reports, and detailed cost estimates. Manage construction administration. Assist with aviation group project management and business development. Lead meetings with team members. Mentor team members. Prepare project proposals. Produce technical reports, presentations, and client communications. Deliver tasks, manage budgets, and ensure quality control. Supervise the work of junior team members. Make a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment. What Your Experience Looks Like Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 7+ years of related airport design experience Licensed Professional Engineer Proficient with AutoCAD or Microstation Good oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements Pay range : $100,000 to $150,000. Salary is based on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
