Job Description As a Security Officer - Full Time in Elgin, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $25.25 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 12:15 AMSun04:30 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
