ARDMS Certified Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer Tacoma, WA $87,080 - $109,470 a year Full Time Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance a forward‑thinking imaging team dedicated to stellar patient care. You will leverage cutting‑edge ultrasound technologies to perform vital diagnostic examinations, sharing your expertise with a network of dedicated healthcare professionals while providing patients with critical insights through compassionate imaging services. Responsibilities Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, delivering clear explanations and compassionate support. Coordinate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of top‑tier diagnostic images. Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues. Accurately document all procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical system. Stay updated on developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices. Education Requirements A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. Completion of a CAAHEP‑accredited Sonography program is highly preferred. Certifications Required Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred. Skills Needed Expert technical knowledge in sonographic practices and patient positioning. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
