Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12 hr Day shifts, totaling 36 hrs/week (12 hrs per shift)

Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and therapy interventions. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory care and disease management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Valid Osteopathic Respiratory Care or Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Clearances: Act 33 with renewal, Act 34 with renewal, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
