The contract runs through late May 2027, ensuring a stable, long-term assignment within a supportive school environment located near Spring Lake, NC.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina School Psychologist License required
• Previous experience working in school settings is highly recommended
• Deep understanding of student assessment processes, behavior intervention, and consulting with educational teams
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to gather and interpret complex data relevant to student needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams
• Support students through intervention planning and implementation
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to craft individualized strategies
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as necessary
• Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in accordance with state and district requirements

This contract opportunity features a consistent 37.5-hour work week and a competitive pay rate of $85 per hour. As the role is onsite-only, you’ll be present for the hands-on support and direct engagement that make a meaningful impact.
