Pay Rate: $23.05/hour
Shifts available:
- 1st: Sunday-Thursday - 6:30am-3:00pm
- 2nd: Sunday Thursday 2:30pm-11:00pm
What's a typical day as Machine Operator? You'll be:
- Operating cooking and production equipment, including kettles, ovens, pumps, dishwashers, and pan wash
- Measuring, weighing, and verifying ingredients according to recipes
- Loading, monitoring, and unloading kettles during the cooking process to ensure food safety and consistency
- Filling containers with finished product and hot stock
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
- Palletizing boxes and moving materials with pallet jacks
- Following all GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Communicating issues or updates to the Supervisor
- Performing other duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
- Bring experience in manufacturing or food production (preferred)
- Are bilingual in Spanish (a plus)
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot/cold production environment
- Can lift up to 50 lbs regularly (team lift available for heavier items)
- Are able to stand and walk for most of the shift and work in heat, noise, and wet conditions
- Can consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
