Job Description Job Description Clips & Clamps Industries , located in Plymouth, MI has an immediate opening for an experienced Toolmaker. This is a direct hire opportunity. Experience Required : - Journeyman card in Tool Die or 8 years of experience as a toolmaker - Minimum of 2-4 years as a toolmaker after completed apprenticeship Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to: - Program, set-up, and operate CNC equipment - Inspect, test, and adjust new and reworked tools, dies and fixtures for conformance to specification such as dimensions, tolerances, and hardness - Capable of operating all tool room equipment effectively - Perform preventative maintenance on tool and dies - Troubleshoot issues with tool and dies to ensure production needs are met - Read and interpret CAD data, blueprints, GDT, CMM reports, customer specifications - Apply and utilize manufacturing best practice for efficiency, quality, safety and capability - Set up and use precision measuring tools and check own work for conformance to specifications Wage commensurate with experience We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Company Description Clips & Clamps Industries is a manufacturer of precision metal-formed products serving the automotive and other industries.
