Working closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and regional business partners, you will execute category strategies, lead sourcing events, negotiate supplier agreements, and identify opportunities to improve cost, service, and operational performance. Our TeamOur team is responsible for developing and managing the logistics supplier network that supports Molex’s manufacturing, distribution, and customer fulfillment operations across the globe. We partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure reliable transportation, warehousing, and brokerage solutions while driving efficiency, resiliency, and long-term value. This role will focus primarily on supporting the Americas region while collaborating with a broader global logistics procurement organization.What You Will DoSupport category strategies across transportation, warehousing, and customs brokerage services throughout the AmericasLead sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities for regional logistics providersAnalyze transportation, warehousing, and logistics spend to identify cost savings, performance improvements, and supply chain efficienciesDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive service, innovation, and value creationMonitor market trends, rates, capacity constraints, and industry developments across trucking, rail, ocean, air freight, warehousing, and brokerage servicesPartner with operations, supply chain, finance, and business leaders to align sourcing activities with business objectivesSupport supplier performance management, including scorecards, business reviews, and corrective action plansContribute to regional and global procurement initiatives that improve network efficiency and standardize best practicesUtilize data and analytics to support decision-making and measure sourcing impactSkills & CapabilitiesSupplier Management & Negotiation: Builds productive supplier relationships and negotiates agreements that balance cost, service, and risk.Business & Financial Acumen: Understands key logistics cost drivers and evaluates sourcing decisions through a value-focused lens.Analytical Mindset: Uses data, market intelligence, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.Collaboration & Influence: Works effectively across functions and regions to align priorities and achieve business outcomes.Execution Excellence:Manages multiple projects simultaneously and delivers results in a fast-paced environment.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related fieldExperience in procurement, sourcing, logistics, transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, and/or third-party logistics servicesExperience negotiating supplier agreements and managing vendor relationshipsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend, cost, and operational performance dataUnderstanding of transportation modes including truck, rail, ocean, and air freightAbility to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholdersWillingness to travel up to 20%What Will Put You AheadExperience supporting regional category strategies within logistics or supply chain functionsKnowledge of transportation markets, freight pricing, warehousing operations, and customs brokerage servicesExperience with sourcing methodologies, supplier performance management, and contract administrationStrong financial analysis skills, including cost modeling and value trackingExperience working across multiple countries within North AmericaFor this role, we anticipate paying $110,000 - $125,000 per year.
