Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting working with students with disabilities
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to support individual learning styles
• Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Implement appropriate classroom management strategies to encourage a positive learning atmosphere
• Collect and analyze student data to inform instructional planning and reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to student goal-setting and progress reviews
• Provide ongoing support, encouragement, and advocacy for students with a variety of learning differences
