Industrial Maintenance Technician
New Albany, MSStarting at $20 per hour About the Role We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Albany, MS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and keeping equipment running at its best. You'll play a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot & Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform Preventive Maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Install & Replace equipment parts and components when needed
- Calibrate & Adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Test Equipment to confirm safe and proper operation after repairs
- Read & Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders
- Maintain Documentation of work performed and updates to equipment
- Prioritize Safety by following proper procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with team members and vendors in a professional manner
- Use Basic Computer Skills for emails, spreadsheets, and online research
- Stay Organized by keeping work areas and the maintenance shop clean
- Assist with Projects or other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license (required for occasional local errands in company vehicle)
- Pay Range: Starting at $20/hr
- Schedule: Full-time, shifts may vary
