This position offers a consistent schedule, advanced imaging technology, exposure to routine and specialized MRI procedures, and the opportunity to work alongside radiologists in a collaborative outpatient environment. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is included.\n \n Position Overview\n • Permanent, full-time role\n • Evening shift\n • MRI imaging position\n • Provides patient care and diagnostic imaging services\n • Coverage rotation to outpatient locations as needed\n • Opportunity to serve as instructor or preceptor\n \n Shift Details\n • 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM\n • Days vary\n • 45 hours per pay period\n • Holiday, overtime, and shift coverage as needed\n \n Compensation & Incentives\n • Hourly range: $48.90 – $73.00 (based on experience)\n • $10,000 sign-on bonus\n \n Key Responsibilities\n • Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures\n • Prepare and position patients according to exam protocols\n • Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures as needed\n • Review completed images for quality, accuracy, and completeness\n • Perform quality assurance and equipment calibrations\n • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment and work areas\n • Print patient CDs and manage imaging documentation as needed\n • Perform patient check-in and routine office responsibilities\n • Communicate exam results and STAT findings as directed\n • Educate patients and family members regarding imaging procedures\n • Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations\n • Participate in coverage rotations at outpatient locations\n \n Requirements\n • High School Diploma (Required)\n • Graduate of an accredited radiography program or hospital-based program (Required)\n • ARRT-MR Certification (Required)\n • New York State Department of Health Radiology License (Required)\n • BLS Certification within 90 days of hire (Required)\n • IV Certification within 180 days of hire (Required)\n • 1-3 years of MRI experience preferred\n \n Why This Opportunity\n This role is ideal for an MRI Technologist seeking strong compensation, a consistent schedule, and the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a patient-focused outpatient setting.
